The EcoBoost versions of the F150 also take advantage from the addition of of ‘Active Grille Shutters’, which work to boost efficiency by closing at speed to reduce drag. All Ford models are equipped with electronic power assisted steering which reduces the fuel consumption even more.
All trims are mated to a six-speed automatic gearbox, while power is sent to the rear wheels. There is also all four wheel drive available on higher spec versions.
